  • Appointed by D. A. Ronnie Earle to the Public Integrity Unit that investigated political corruption– including the Texans For Republican Majority PAC (TRMPAC), which eventually led to the indictment of Tom DeLay
  • Assistant District Attorney assigned to the Center for Child Protection to assist in the investigation and prosecution of child abuse cases.
  • Has testified numerous times as a resource witness to the Texas Legislature on key criminal justice legislation
  • Created and served as an Adjunct Professor for the Prosecution Externship/Clinic at the University of Texas School of Law.
  • Researched, drafted and testified for the law that became the “Life Without Parole “ statute which provided Texas juries with an alternative to the death penalty
